Personal Interests
Here you will get to take a closer look at the activities and passions that have shaped me beyond my academic and professional experiences. Each of these interests reflect the development of important traits I have gained and take into all aspects of my life.
Raising The Barre
I started dancing when I was 4 years old and haven’t stopped since then. In middle school I decided to commit all of my afterschool time to taking dance classes and improving my technique. I wanted to be as good as the other girls at my studio and developed a drive and passion for advancement. I danced all through high school, performing in The Nutcracker many times and in DanceFest at The Palace Theatre in Stamford, CT twice. I have continued to take technique classes in college to retain my skills. I have training in ballet, pointe, contemporary, modern (limon & horton), and jazz.
Being a dancer has allowed me to develop important traits such as discipline, focus, and resilience. It is a physically and mentally demanding activity that requires hours of hard work and practice in order to succeed. The lessons I’ve learned in my time dancing and the skills I’ve developed are ones I have taken into the rest of my life and have made me a more strong and tough person.

Finding My Sound
I’ve loved to sing since I can remember. Throughout my childhood I was in various choirs and chamber groups that fostered my ability to sing with other students but this became difficult to do in high school because of Covid. During my freshman year in college, I joined the Skidmore Accents, a female and genderqueer acapella group, that reignited my passion for performing. With them I have performed at countless campus events, jams, off-campus organizations, and more.
I also play the acoustic guitar and the drums, both of which have further connected me to music and performing. I am always looking to learn new instruments and gain new perspectives on music. Through these hobbies I have become a far more confident, adaptable, creative, and self-aware person.

Journeying Beyond
In my life I’ve been fortunate enough to travel to about 20 US states and 12 countries. In spring of 2025, I studied abroad in London, England and traveled to 9 countries within 4 months. Traveling has allowed me to explore the world, see incredible sights, and learn about unfamiliar cultures. Through my experiences I have gained a broadened worldview, a widened comfort zone, more resourcefulness, and a deeper understanding of myself and my place in the world.
My 2025 Travel Wrapped:
– England – Italy – Switzerland
– Scotland – Spain – Denmark
– Ireland – France – The Netherlands
