Projects

Brand and Market Communications

CONSULTATION PROJECT, FALL 2025

Over the course of a few weeks, I worked with TogaNola, a woman owned small business granola company with an initiative to serve the Saratoga community. I worked in a team to develop 2 strategies, complete with creative ideas, that would boost awareness for the company and support their success and growth. Within our presentation we also analyzed industry insights, company insights, cultural context, and target audience to create a clear picture of where the company played in the market. We presented these ideas to the owner of the company and were pleased to hear that she plans to implement some of our ideas.

Brand and Market Communications

CONSULTATION PROJECT, FALL 2025

Through Skidmore, I worked with Sizzl, an in-development app that centers around cooking competitions and challenges. I worked in a team to develop 2 strategies, complete with creative ideas for them to use, that would boost awareness for the app and support their success and growth. Within our presentation we also analyzed industry insights, company insights, cultural context, and target audience to create a clear picture of where the company played in the market. We presented these ideas to the COO of the company.

Dance Residency

As a part of the civic-engagement focused bridge course “Dancing Toward Success”, me and a classmate collaborated with a 3rd grade teacher at Gloversville Elementary School to teach a 3-day dance residency for her students. We applied what we learned in class about effective teaching and arts education to create lesson plans that introduced students to social-emotional skills with a goal of helping them learn to understand their feelings and express them artistically. The residency was a success and it brought me great pride and joy to have a direct relationship and impact on the community.

Mattel Executive Presentation

In Fall 2023, I worked with a team of students to create a new business strategy for Mattel that would earn them $900 million by 2028. We had to detail the competitive landscape, industry insights, company insights, cultural context, and create a marketing plan. This presentation challenged my collaborative skills, critical thinking, and business knowledge and pushed me to refine my presentation skills in order to share our strategy effectively with business executives.
